Off on Adventures
Unit 4 Lesson 6
For all Language Arts sample work assessments, you will get the opportunity to practice your handwriting. Each sample work will ask you a question that relates back to a concept that you learned about within this unit. In Unit 4, you learned all about fables and folktales. A key part of these stories is an important lesson, or moral.
In a sentence or two, write about a lesson you have learned or a lesson that you were taught and why you think it is important. Please use complete sentences and your best handwriting. This needs to be handwritten, not typed.

Remember:
In Unit 8 Lesson 3 (page 12), you were asked to write the correct regular plural form of each noun in the box. Then, write a sentence using each regular plural noun in your notebook. You will submit this activity as your Sample Work for this lesson. Please use complete sentences and your best handwriting. This needs to be handwritten, not typed.

Unit 16 Lesson 6
For all Language Arts sample work assessments, you will get the opportunity to practice your handwriting. Each sample work will ask you to answer a question or complete an activity that relates back to something that you learned about within this unit. In Unit 16, you learned about how sequence, cause/effect, and reasoning can help create strong points when writing an informational or explanatory text.
Specifically, in Unit 16 Lesson 1, page 2, you were asked to choose an animal that is at risk of going extinct and create a poster to share why this animal is worth saving. This poster could be created in your notebook or using the worksheet linked below. Your poster should include a drawing as well as at least two reasons for why the animal is worth saving.
